Check your eyesight at home

This simple interactive test uses an eye-chart style display to give you a basic indication of how clearly you can read different-sized letters.

1. Distance Sit about 3 metres (10 feet) from your screen.

2. One eye Cover one eye without pressing on it.

3. Read Read each line from top to bottom and record the smallest line you can read.

This is only a screening tool, not a medical diagnosis. For an accurate vision examination, consult an optometrist or ophthalmologist.
